Mr Billy Jowett has an excellent approach to his patients from the first meeting throughout all consultations, operations and follow ups. MrJowett is kind, caring, understanding and approachable. His professionalism puts you at ease and gives a sense of trust at every stage of the treatment.

Did what it says on the tin, as it were! Courteous, polite, efficient, proficient surgeon with an excellent secretary! The latter cannot be underplayed, great communication skills and responds speedily if required - rare these days.

As a patient I cannot recommend Mr Jowett too highly; he is caring, considerate and listens attentively to what you are saying. He is gentle upon examination of the problem area and makes suggestions as to the way in which he might proceed. He always listens to your concerns. In addition Mr Jowett will organise any x-ray's at the beginning of your appointment so that these are to hand in the consulting room. He then explains what he is seeing to you and together you will come to an agreement as to the best way to proceed. If an operation is needed Mr Jowett will take time to explain what he proposes to do and gives you the chance to ask questions so that you are fully informed of both the positives and any untoward consequences' that might apply. You never feel rushed at any consultation with him, as Mr Jowett makes you feel that you are his only patient! Mr Jowett will see you just before the operation itself, and you are given the chance to as any further questions, and he will mark the skin where he proposes to operate. These marks are easily washed off. He will see you after surgery to explain how the operation went and will encourage you to ask any questions. At all the follow up consultations Mr Jowett is kind and considerate and will organise any x-rays so that they are waiting for you the patient to see them at the time of your appointment. Again he will talk you through what he has done and how the operation went. When I first saw Mr Jowett I was having difficulty and was unable to wear ordinary shoes. I was also in pain when walking. My last post operative appointment saw me in my fashionable ankle boots and in no pain. We were both delighted with the result. Mr Jowett will keep the next 6 months available for me to make an appointment to see him if necessary. I thank him and all the staff at Sire Portsmouth for their kind attention and utter professionalism. My after care at appointments has been superb.

Previously had foot surgery on nhs which was extremely unsuccessful. Mr.Jowett and his team managed to rectify the situation. Very happy with the final result and can now walk pain free. Mr. Jowett is very professional, approachable, kind and efficient.
